Holidays To Costa Blanca from Manchester

Long before the now famous TV series, Benidorm has always been one of the most popular beach resorts in the Mediterranean. Getting to and from there is a quick flight, and there are plenty of things to do for all members of the family.

In terms of beaches, there are many to choose from on Costa Blanca, so you’re spoiled for choice with plenty of options. Dénia offers family-friendly coves, unspoiled sands, and protected seabeds, while Benidorm has more lively, party-filled beaches.

    Costa Blanca Main Resorts

Benidorm holidays are renowned for their lively nightlife and golden stretches of sand along the Costa Blanca. In the daytime, you can float between a lounger and the sparkle of the Mediterranean, but in the evenings, the city’s cabarets, karaoke bars, and discos, which draw a roster of top DJs, come to life. Despite Benidorm’s shimmering line of high-rises, there’s more to see than just the beaches.

There used to be a lot of hen and stag parties in the resort, but hotels have clamped down on large groups, so it is less rowdy now. There are still a lot of cheap drinks and fun to be had.

It’s no secret that Benidorm is working hard to be more of an up-market destination, and as such, there are more and more hotels popping up along the Benidorm coastline.

If you prefer a more traditional Spanish vacation than Benidorm, Albir is ideal.

Albir holidays are a massive hit with sun-seekers. Its pristine sandy beaches make for lazy days along Spain’s Costa Blanca, where its sunny climate is always a treat. Although Albir has palm-tree lined streets, its appeal extends far beyond them. Benidorm is just down the road for when you want a livelier atmosphere.

    Cala Finestrat

Cala Finestrat is an idyllic sandy beach, surrounded by hills, with warm, clear water. Cala Finestrat is only 3 kilometers south of Benidorm, but it is less crowded, so one can enjoy the beach during the day, and at night choose between Cala Finestrat’s quiet evenings and Benidorm’s vibrant nightlife.

With hotels for every budget and excellent sports facilities, Finestrat offers something for everyone. There is a lot to do on the coast, and the mountains offer the ideal terrain for hiking and climbing.

A Spanish holiday is all about the sun, sea, sand, and culture. In the charming Mediterranean resort of Calpe, north of the sapphire-colored Costa Blanca, you’ll find exactly that. There are many golden beaches here, situated between the enormous Rock of Ifach on the coast and the magnificent Sierra Bernia mountains.

The beaches in Calpe are some of the most beautiful on the Costa Blanca, including the blue flag-certified Playa de la Fossa and Playa de Levante. There are plenty of small cafes to stop for a snack. As well as offering beautiful views and a variety of restaurants and bars, the Paseo Infanta Cristina Promenade offers some incredible scenery.

    Alicante City

Many people fly into Alicante and then never give the city much thought again. This is a big mistake!

Its beaches are renowned for their white sand and for being among the best in Europe. However, this city is far more than just a place to sunbathe. The region has everything you could possibly want for a memorable vacation: magnificent castles, tranquil spots, great hotels and fascinating museums.
